The Northern California Rat Community, (NCRC) Group is a resource guide for Rat Enthusiasts both new to the world of rats as
well as those that already share their lives with these wonderful family companion pets. We have put together all things rat related so that
you will have at your finger tips a wealth of invaluable information.
That is easily available in order for you to keep your pet rats healthy and happy and be able to network with other folks sharing the same love and interest for our favorite pet - RATS!
We encourage families and everyone who is interested in companion pet rats to read over the website and learn as much as you can about caring for pet Rats. We also encourage you to join the local Yahoo Groups to keep current on what is happening in the Rat Community.

The NCRC has been around since 2001. We first were hosting small events with the Rat Fan Club but wanted to branch out to incorporate others that have a rat related group in the Northern California area in order to create "The Rat Community". So we adopted the name Northern California Rat Community, and refer to ourselves as the NCRC. There are no membership dues to belong to the group only a strong love for and a desire to learn all you can about the best pet around RATS! We often get together for small social gatherings and rat parties and events. You will find photos of our previous parties and events in the NCRC Party/Event section. (under construction)
